An exciting opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to provide inpatient staffing support at a 100-bed hospital in South Lake Tahoe, CA. This contract position offers a structured schedule and an engaging environment to apply clinical expertise within a hospital pharmacy setting.

Location: South Lake Tahoe, CA

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week (4x10s)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage medication dispensing and distribution for inpatients
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication therapy
• Utilize hospital systems including EPIC and Pyxis for order verification and inventory control
• Monitor medication use and participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and safety standards

Qualifications:

• Valid California Pharmacist license
• Approximately 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Ability to work full-time with flexible availability within schedule parameters
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems is strongly preferred
