Construction Manager Seattle, WA, US 6890130 21 hours ago Job Description Experience: Mid Level Salary: $95,000 - $140,000 per year We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Permanent Construction Manager to join our team. This role is integral to our operations and will require a candidate with a strong background in construction management, risk management, planning, leadership, team management, decision making, and quality control. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The Permanent Construction Manager will also be tasked with managing teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and making critical decisions that impact the success of our projects. Responsibilities: Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs. Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors. Meet contractual conditions of performance. Review the work progress on a daily basis. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones. Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses. Analyze, manage and mitigate risks. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques. Manage and lead project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment. Make informed decisions under pressure that impact project timelines, budgets, and quality. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction management role. Proven experience in managing all phases of construction projects. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively. Strong decision-making abilities and leadership skills. Proficient knowledge of building codes, quality control, and safety regulations. Exceptional ability to analyze and manage risk. Excellent planning and project management skills. Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to draft contracts and secure permits and licenses. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
