CNC Machine Operator

Automation Personnel Services is looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operator for a company based in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role you are responsible for the setup and operation of metal-cutting machinery, with the primary task of constructing tools and components for machinery.

Pay Rate
$18.00-$20 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm

CNC Machine Operator Duties and Responsibilities

Configure and set up Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines for efficient and accurate operation.
Interpret and execute CNC programs to ensure the precise cutting, shaping, and machining of materials according to specifications.
Monitor and inspect finished products to verify adherence to design specifications, adjusting as necessary to maintain high-quality standards.
Perform regular maintenance on CNC machines and tools, including cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of worn-out components to ensure optimal functionality.

CNC Machine Operator Qualifications and Requirements

Obtain a High School Diploma or GED as a prerequisite for the position.
Demonstrate strong mathematical and analytical skills to effectively perform job responsibilities.
Successfully pass a measurement test and possess the ability to read PVs (Process Variables) as part of the role requirements.
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals and meet deadlines.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. per shift, coupled with extended periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching as necessary for the job.

Job Type Full-time, temporary to permanent.
