Mortgage Loan Officer Holy Rosary Credit Union

Overview Holy Rosary Credit Union (HRCU) has an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, member-focused individual to join its lending division as a Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO). In this role, the MLO will provide real estate lending services by guiding members through the Credit Union’s lending application process and helping them secure the best financing options to meet their financial needs. The MLO will actively cross-sell HRCU’s products and services while evaluating members’ mortgage needs and recommending the best option offered by the Credit Union. The primary duties include face-to-face on-site meetings with Credit Union members, following up on the applications, managing the mortgage lending pipeline, and collaborating with the mortgage operations team to ensure loans are managed in line with expectations. The MLO will ensure loan agreements are completed accurately in accordance with policy, prepare and/or review all mortgage documents, and complete the workflow for the residential mortgage application process. Responsibilities Conduct face-to-face on-site meetings with members to assess mortgage needs and provide guidance through the lending process. Follow up on mortgage applications and manage the lending pipeline to ensure timely processing. Collaborate with the mortgage operations team to ensure loans are managed in line with expectations. Ensure loan agreements are completed accurately in accordance with policy and applicable regulations. Prepare and/or review all mortgage documents and complete the workflow for the residential mortgage application process. Qualifications Two-year college degree (or equivalent) and completion of specialized certification or licensing; three to five years of related experience required. NMLS is highly desired. Effective organizational and communication skills with strong knowledge of mortgage products, lending regulations, and financial analysis. Experience with multiple software programs related to the lending application process is required.
