Family Service Worker for Intake Butler County Educational Service Center – Hamilton, Ohio Position: Family Service Worker for Intake Start Date: As soon as possible Salary: $20.00 - $26.50 per hour, based on education. Work Year: Full time – 210 days. Job Description: To complete applications and verify eligibility documentation on time in order to maintain full enrollment in Head Start centers in accordance with Head Start Standards, Ohio Department of Education Pre-School regulations and BCESC policies and procedures; ensure that intake and enrollment services are provided for all eligible applicants and to refer families to the appropriate community social service/health service agency(ies) for direct services; serve as a liaison between parents and staff. Qualifications: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Human Services Field Spanish speaking preferred. One (1) year prior social service experience with families; undergraduate field practicum acceptable. Valid Ohio driver’s license with good driving record and daily access to a private insured vehicle during working hours. Willingness/ability to work as a team member. Computer proficiency appropriate to the position. Good organizational skills. History of good job attendance. Must pass criminal background checks and be free from communicable disease.
