About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of recent acute care experience in Medical Surgical License: Must have an active state nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Required certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS - Ability to float as needed within the facility - Must adhere to the RTO policy, which includes no time off on weekends or holidays Description: Position for a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical specialty. Shifts will be three 12-hour shifts, typically working from 7 AM to 7:30 PM. The nurse will be required to float to various units as necessary to meet facility needs. There is a weekend requirement of working every other weekend. Mandatory floating across units and possibly outside the primary competency is expected. Resources should be prepared to be notified of float assignments up to two hours prior to shift start. Time off requests must comply with specific guidelines, including a maximum of five days. No requests for time off will be approved on holidays, or the days preceding or following holidays. References from recent employers will be required prior to starting. Candidates should ensure their submission includes a valid state license. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and adaptability in various clinical settings.
