Material Handler

***Employnet is currently seeking a Material Handler for a growing company in Spanish Springs, offering $19.00-$20.50/PH***

Performs inventory consolidation, relocation, putaway, in a safe manner (totally conscious of all pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the vicinity; right of way to pedestrians) as necessary for consolidation and space usage. Completes daily inspection of vehicle to be driven, completes safety check list and reports all mechanical problems with the vehicle. Reports all accidents (damage to property, vehicle, injuries regardless of how minor). May be trained to change machine batteries.

Loads and offloads pallets from trailers. Builds pallet loads which meet customer and carrier shipping criteria. Stacks pallets (bulk) in a safe manner (so as not to topple bulk towers). Stores pallets in racking in a safe manner (no excess overhang, pallets cannot be nudged out of position by next putaway, pallets cannot fall). Performs other applicable duties within the assigned department which do not require the operation of a lift truck.

Pay: $19/hr (Days)-$20.50/hr (Swing) Shifts: Day: 6am-2:30pm Swing: 3pm-11:30pm
