Lead Veterinary Technician

Kings Trail Animal Hospital is seeking a Lead Veterinary Technician to join our growing team! This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician looking to step into a leadership role within a supportive, collaborative environment. Responsibilities Lead and support the veterinary assistant/technician team Assist with inpatient and outpatient care, exam room support, anesthesia monitoring, and surgical procedures Delegate daily workflow and maintain medical and safety standards Mentor and coach team members to foster a positive team culture Schedule Full‑time position Flexible scheduling options Availability needed Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays Benefits and Compensation Compensation: $22‑25 per hour, for each hour worked Bonus package: $500‑$2,000 based on experience and licensure Continuing Education allowance: Up to $1,000 annually based on licensure Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and disability coverage Employee Assistance Program 401(k) optionsPaid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law Personal pet discount Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience Active and good‑standing Certified Veterinary Technician in the state of Florida Passion for mentoring and developing team members Strong multitasking and organizational skills Commitment to high‑quality patient care Experience with: Anesthesia induction and monitoring Dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs IV catheter placement and IV/IM injections Cystocentesis Microscopic evaluation WVP is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
