Responsibilities Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant Location/work environment: In facility Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. You have the skill set to address the whole patient and treat them individually, focusing on restoring, reinforcing, and enhancing their physical abilities and independence. Adaptability to patient needs and collaboration with peers are essential, as well as referrals to other services for comprehensive care. Patient‑care first approach ensures families receive highest quality, compassionate service. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards. Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
