Bridge Engineer, PE - Hybrid

Discover your full potential – join us to advance your career while leaving a lasting legacy.Essential Functions :Design bridges, culverts and retaining walls Plan production including 3D Modeling and CADD Load rating analysis of bridges Utilize structural design software Prepare structural evaluation studies, structure-type studies, and similar reports Computation of estimated quantities, plan notes, and development of cost estimates Site visits to support the design process Supervise the design and ongoing progress of a project, including the coordination of the project with state and local officials and other outside agencies and sub-consultants Participate in business development efforts and meet with clients Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) License, required 5+ years of engineering experience, which must include bridge design and plan production Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record Familiarity with AASHTO bridge design standards Experience with computer software such as OpenRoads, AutoCAD, OpenBridge Designer, AASHTOWare BrR Experience as Bridge Inspection Team Leader is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skillsThis position could require periodic travel, approximately 15% or moreLife at Tetra Tech:The perks of working at Tetra Tech include:· Comprehensive and market-competitive benefits.· Merit-based financial rewards.· Flexibility and company-wide commitment to work/life balance.· Collaborative team atmosphere that values the contributions of all employees.· Learning and development opportunities for ongoing professional growth.
