Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and NYS licensure for a day shift assignment in Glens Falls, NY.

Details

• Nuclear Medicine department setting
• 8-hour day shifts, Tuesday-Friday from 7am-5pm
• 40 hours scheduled per week with 36 hours guaranteed
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Uses GE imaging equipment, Epic EMR, and McKesson PACS

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience required, CT experience a plus
• Venipuncture experience required
• ARRT (N) or CNMT/NMTCB certification required (either accepted)
• BLS certification required
• NY state license required if applicable
• Previous travel experience strongly encouraged
• Candidates must provide their own vehicle

Additional Information

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures using GE equipment
• Personal scrubs of any color permitted, no designs, cartoons, or hoodies
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested, and must be submitted at time of upload
• Facility may cancel up to 5 shifts per 13-week contract with 2 hour notice
• No block scheduling will be considered for this position
• Candidates with a permanent address in certain nearby NY counties will not be considered for this assignment
