* Position Information:
* Department: Medical Surgical Telemetry
* Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
* Specialty: Cardiac and Stepdown
* Number of Openings: 3
* Shift: 12-hour shifts (7p-7:30a)
* Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
* Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
* Call Requirements: Only if census is low
* Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
* Years of Experience: 1 year PCU or Stepdown
* Float Requirements: Yes

* Unit Details:
* Number of Beds: 36
* Patient Ratios:
* 1:5-6 for Cardiac patients
* 1:3-4 for PCU/Stepdown population
* Equipment: Telemetry monitoring
* EHR: Cerner
* Supervisor: Calleigh Gomoll, Manager; Cherlynn Erickson, Director

* Patient Population:
* Focused on Cardiac patients
* Includes trauma and stepdown level of care
* Telemetry monitoring

* Hiring Profile:
* Must Have Skills/Experience:
* Cardiac patient populations
* Chest tubes, cardiac monitoring, and cardiac drips
* Experience with cardiac stepdown populations
* Preferred Skillset/Experience:
* PCU/Stepdown patient populations
* Low-level ICU skills
* Common Diagnosis/Treatment:
* Chest pain, VATS, Stroke/TIA
* Pre & Post Open Heart Surgery
* Pacemakers, Heart Blocks, Vascular, CHF
* Personality Fit: Teamwork is a must!
* Required Education: Associate Degree

* Dress Code:
* Scrub Color: Blue or Navy
* Unacceptable Attire: No blue jeans
