Looking for a true Technical/Platform Architect

Infrastructure/Storage/Networking/Server side of things from a design and architecture standpoint

Accommodate all of the new systems and changes and help scale the infrastructure environment to be able to handle changes, etc.

This person will definitely be an architect and have very strong experience with design, leadership and scalability of platforms.

They must have very strong communication/collaboration skills as well because they will work with development teams, the infrastructure teams, the database teams, etc.

Job Summary/Description:

As a Technical Architect your responsibilities will be to work closely with Solution Architects, technical leads, and Systems Team members to enable technical infrastructure, networking, storage, operating systems, virtualization, and lower level platform software utilized by an Agile Release Train. You will be responsible to provide technical assistance to agile development teams as appropriate with the goal of delivering solutions with optimal maintainability, reliability, and cost effectiveness.

Job Specific Skills and Responsibilities:

• Create and implement Technical Architectures

• Provide solution design and technology leadership

• Develop and communicate architectural roadmaps

• Assist development teams with transaction analysis and capacity planning

• Coordinate technical architectural dependencies

• Satisfy NFRs, Quality Attributes and metrics

• Proactively contribute to architecture runway planning and development sessions to identify key technology requirements and dependencies

• Ensure teams have the necessary tools and knowledge

• Assist with escalated help tickets to resolve platform related issues

• Lead architects and teams in setting best technical architecture technology practices

• Guide technology selection and implementation efforts

• Identify change requirements

• Assist development teams with business continuity and disaster recovery best practices

• Ensure ongoing compliance with corporate procedures and provide and notify management of non-compliant issues as they arise.

• Proactively identify and analyze risks, opportunities, and constraints with technical solutions or processes.

• Evaluate and present recommendations to leadership to support decision making

• Initiates, defines, and leads the development and communication of effective reports to key stakeholders

• Experience with Linux based systems.

• Experience working with data storage technologies such as Oracle, DataStax, Redis, MySQL, or similar technology.
