Junior IT Support TechnicianOur client is seeking a Junior IT Support Technician to join their team and provide technical assistance across the business. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong desire to learn and develop within the field of IT support.As a Junior IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, installing and configuring hardware and software, and providing technical support both remotely and on-site.ResponsibilitiesInvestigate and resolve software and hardware issues.Configure and install workstations with in-house software applications and peripherals for users.Understand, configure and troubleshoot in-house software applications.Perform maintenance and repair of IT hardware equipment as well as Live Casino equipment.Assist with virus detection, maintenance and clean-up of in-house hardware.Provide IT support to users across all company departments.Assist with the installation of new cabling, including cable termination and testing.Install and calibrate audio/visual equipment.Manage technical IT issues within the Live Studios.Monitor the delivery of live streams from the Live Casino and/or studio to the encoding servers.Adhere to our client's policies and procedures while carrying out all duties and responsibilities.Perform any other duties as required.QualificationsDiploma in Computer Science or an advanced certification in an IT-related field.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Ambitious, motivated and eager to learn.Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.Willingness to participate in a 24/7 shift roster.Person SpecificationExcellent problem-solving skills.Knowledge of the gaming industry would be considered an advantage but is not essential.Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.Proficient in written and spoken English, with strong computer literacy.Flexible approach to work with a positive, can-do attitude.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
