HVAC Technician

HVAC TechnicianPerform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment, recommending changes for improved efficiency. Install and maintain air conditioning units and systems, ensuring proper operation. Calibrate and maintain HVAC controls and assist with complex electronics or pneumatic controls. Maintain assigned tools, equipment, and work area, and requisition supplies as needed. Execute welding, brazing, and soldering tasks. Diagnose and repair issues with centralized air handling units, refrigerated air conditioning units, walk-in boxes, cold rooms, and chillers. Respond to heating or cooling complaints and make necessary adjustments. Test and balance HVAC systems to meet specifications and code requirements. The shift is from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Tuesday to Saturday, with initial training on the day shift. A uniform will be provided.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stanford, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $46.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
