Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Overview
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department, Aberdeen, WA. Start date: 07/06/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,194–$2,217 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12 Night shifts (1830-0700). Setting: hospital. This is a travel, temporary assignment for an ER nurse with active state licensure requirements to be met prior to start.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult and pediatric ER patients in a high-acuity environment
- Perform initial assessments, triage, ongoing monitoring, and timely interventions
- Administer medications, start IVs, manage IV therapies, and document responses
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and ED team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond to code alerts, participate in rapid assessment and life-saving interventions as needed
- Educate patients and families on discharge instructions, follow-up care, and safety precautions
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record and ensure infection control and patient safety standards

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in Washington State or a multi-state license with Nursys verification
- Approved 6-hour suicide training
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certification
- Emergency Department nursing experience required
- Knowledge of Meditech is helpful but not required
- RTO requests must be pre-approved and added to the end of the contract with full scheduling availability
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced ED setting
