Headquartered in Camas, Washington, nLIGHT is a publicly listed company (NASDAQ: LASR).Summary: As an Electrical Engineer, you'll support the design, development, and testing of rugged electrical solutions for advanced laser and electro-optical systems. You'll work alongside senior engineers, gaining hands-on experience in power distribution, cabling, and troubleshooting while learning best practices for military-grade systems. Please review this information before applying.Responsibilities:Assist in designing and testing MIL-STD power and data cabling solutions using COTS and custom componentsSupport development of electrical system architecture, power budgets, grounding, and EMI/EMC mitigationCollaborate with mechanical and electro-optical engineers to integrate electrical solutions into compact designsHelp troubleshoot hardware and system-level issues under guidanceDocument designs, test results, and quality assessments for cables and devicesAdhere to safe electrical practices and contribute to team problem-solving.Required Experience / Capability:Commitment to Excellence.
