We are currently seeking Paraprofessionals for our school New Dawn Academy! This role will provide support and serve as a part of an instructional team alongside teachers and service personnel.

Essential Duties

• Assists with designing, implementing, and evaluating program activities to ensure high levels of learning and performance outcomes.
• Provides one-on-one tutoring as needed.
• Provides instructional support services as directed under teacher supervision.
• Assists in conducting parental awareness activities.
• Serves as a testing proctor for assessment administration functions.
• Maintains performance logs on a daily basis.
• Performs related duties as needed and assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must possess an Associate Degree or has earned at least 60 hours of college credit (90 hours preferred)
• Must be able to demonstrate (through a formal State or local academic assessment) knowledge and the ability to assist in instructing, reading, writing, and mathematics
• Must be organized and detailed oriented
• Bilingual -Arabic Preferred
