Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA Pay Rate: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour Schedule: 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM No Guessing. No Gaps. Just Grit. Requirements: High school diploma or GED required. Ability to work with precision, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality standards. Minimum 5 years of experience as a conventional machinist. Strong knowledge of manual machining processes and equipment. Ability to read and understand blueprints and machining codes. Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Basic computer skills for tracking and documentation. Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented environment.

Job Duties: Operate 2- and 3-axis conventional mills and lathes within a multi-machine work cell. Perform complex machine setups, including tooling, fixtures, and chuck adjustments. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings to determine tolerances and machining sequences. Set and adjust machining parameters (speed, feed, depth, coolant flow). Run trial operations and monitor production to ensure precision and quality standards are met. Inspect finished parts to verify conformance to specifications. Utilize cranes, hoists, and forklifts to move materials and load machines. Track production time and maintain accurate job and quality records. Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with engineering and production teams. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
