About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Telemetry experience Recent acute care experience Ability to handle a 6-patient ratio Travel experience Description: This position requires no block schedule requests. 48-hour shifts can be considered, but they are not guaranteed. The facility is Joint Commission accredited and has 171 beds. It serves as a community hospital and regional referral center. It is certified as a Chest Pain Center and is a Level 3 Trauma facility. The area is known for outdoor recreation opportunities. It features beautiful mountain ranges paired with serene lake scenery. It is located near major cities. Weekend shifts will require 4 shifts in a 4-week schedule period. There are no call requirements, but scheduling may be flexed as needed. Floating to other units within the hospital is expected. The unit consists of 40 beds, with a patient ratio of 1:6. The facility uses Baxter for IV pumps and Zoll for defibrillators. The electronic health record system in use is Medhost. The patient population includes adult and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate should possess a compassionate, positive, and can-do attitude. Preferred experience includes preceptor and charge responsibilities. Typical patients on the unit include those with total joint replacements, surgical patients, and those with acute on chronic medical conditions.
