Correctional Associate Warden for Programs

Agency Adult Correction Division COO - OPS - Institutions Operations. Job Classification Title: Correctional Assoc Supt for Program I (NS). Position Number: 60057415. Grade: NC13. Salary Range: $48,222.00 - $84,388.00. Responsibilities Manage program services at Wake Correctional Center located in Raleigh, NC. Establish operating procedures and standards for all program services. Provide ongoing training for staff in areas under supervision. Participate as a member of the Executive Management Team for planning, development, and management of the facility. Oversee a variety of program services, including case management, chaplaincy services, treatment and rehabilitation programs, work release, volunteer programs, and transitional services. May serve as acting Warden in the absence of the Warden. Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and at least one year of supervisory or management-level experience in correctional programs (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). Must be eligible for certification by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education & Training Standards Commission. Documented skills in supervision and management techniques. Documented knowledge of supportive counseling or treatment programs. Documented knowledge of services available to individuals from the community and other public and private programs.
