Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 5+ years of experience to perform diagnostic imaging procedures on adult and pediatric patients in a Level II trauma acute care facility. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience as an MRI Technologist ARRT (MR) certification required BLS certification (AHA) required License required if applicable Ability to independently apply appropriate MRI scanning techniques for diagnostic purposes Experience with both adult and pediatric patient populations Responsibilities Acute care setting with Level II trauma designation MRI unit with 1 room EPIC EMR used for charting Equipment includes Philips Ingenia 1.5, Med Rad Spectris Solaris Injector, Omnicell, and FUJI PACS Night shift schedule, Monday-Friday 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM May work independently at times without direct supervision No floating to other units required 40 hours per week guaranteed Perform MRI procedures according to radiologist-established protocols with a high degree of independent judgment Responsible for screening patients and objects entering the magnet room to ensure magnet safety Assume responsibility for designated area and procedures performed Black scrubs required COVID vaccination required, with medical or religious exemption process available First-time travelers may be considered Previous WVU Medicine travelers or permanent staff must have a 2-year break before returning Travelers cannot work within WVU system for longer than 1 cumulative year without a 2-year break Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel positions Local candidates are not accepted for this position Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr
