Posting Number: View phone number on click.appcast.io Pay Grade: 22E ( Salary: $59,342.40 - $94,286.40 annually ) Agency / Dept. / Office: Planning & Zoning Closing Date: Open Until Filled Job Summary: The essential function of the position within the organization is to perform professional and technical work in the review and/or processing of plans for development within the County in the areas assigned. The position is responsible for assisting in one or more of the following areas: the enforcement of the County’s land development regulations and implementation of the Comprehensive Plan, performing duties relating to the development of transportation plans and programs, land development, recommending amendments to existing regulations as appropriate, reviewing applications for occupational licenses and zoning clearances, maintaining complete and accurate project records, and performing related work as required. The position works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences. This position shall be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Requires a bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Transportation, Engineering or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience, specifically transportation planning, design, civil engineering or a related field.
