Responsibilities Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Licensed Practical Nurse – Acute Care role provides supportive and restorative care to patients and administers medications and treatments according to policies, procedures, and standards of the nursing practice. Qualifications Education : Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program. License/Certifications : Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse; BLS certification (current or obtain within 30 days); IV certification required. Experience : One year of relevant experience preferred. Compensation & Benefits For a limited time, sign‑on bonuses are offered: $5,000 for 0‑1 years of experience (full time), $7,500 for 1‑3 years (full time), and $10,000 for 3+ years (full time). Part‑time hires receive a prorated bonus; per diem hires are ineligible. Bonuses are paid after offer acceptance. Current MaineHealth members are ineligible; former members must have a separation of more than six months.
