The Valley College of Osteopathic Medicine (Valley COM) is a new osteopathic medical school in Greater Phoenix, Arizona, preparing to welcome its inaugural class. Guided by our mission to develop technically proficient and compassionate osteopathic physicians who will serve rural and underserved communities, this faculty member will integrate osteopathic principles, cultural humility, and innovative teaching strategies to prepare students for careers that transform healthcare across Arizona and beyond. What You'll Do: Deliver instruction rooted in the school's mission Contribute to leadership and advisory functions Develop and instruct primary care curriculum Evaluate and assess student learning Support students through mentorship and support services Collaborate across the interdisciplinary faculty Contribute to research and innovation Support accreditation, quality, and compliance Participate in strategic planning as the institution grows Workload: 60% Teaching | 25% Service | 15% Research/Scholarship Qualifications: MD, DO, or equivalent doctorate degree in a related field Board eligibility or certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related primary care specialty preferred Demonstrated commitment to osteopathic philosophy and holistic patient care Experience or formal training in medical education or curriculum development Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively in an interdisciplinary academic environment Commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in medical education Proficiency with digital learning platforms and educational technologies #J-18808-Ljbffr The Valley College of Osteopathic Medicine
