Regional Sales Manager – Education, Municipal and Sports MarketsTexas | Field-Based Leadership | Houston Preferred$100,000–$170,000 base plus bonus and performance incentivesLead an established five-person outside sales team selling large, project-based solutions throughout TexasThis is a hands-on player-coach role for a sales leader experienced with six-figure capital projects, multiple decision makers and sales cycles ranging from 3–12 months. You’ll work alongside the sales team in the field, strengthen customer relationships and help move complex opportunities from presentation and proposal through negotiation and closeExperience selling into K-12 schools, higher education, municipalities, parks and recreation departments, athletic facilities or sports venues is strongly preferredWhat You’ll Be DoingLead, coach and develop a five-person outside sales team across TexasTravel throughout the state for customer meetings, field coaching and strategic sales opportunitiesParticipate directly in presentations, proposal development, contract negotiations and closing six-figure capital projectsDevelop regional and territory strategies that increase sales and strengthen key accountsHelp the team navigate complex buying processes involving administrators, facility leaders, architects, contractors, purchasing departments and other decision makersPartner with Inside Sales and Operations to ensure projects are positioned, sold and delivered successfullyRepresent the company at customer meetings, industry events and trade showsDrive continued growth across education, municipal, parks and recreation and sports facility marketsWhat We’re Looking ForSuccessful experience leading outside sales teams selling capital projects, construction-related products or other complex project-based solutionsDirect involvement in presentations, proposals, negotiations and closing six-figure projectsExperience managing sales cycles of 3–12 months involving multiple stakeholders and decision makersExperience selling into K-12 education, higher education, municipalities, parks and recreation or sports venues strongly preferredHands-on leadership style with the ability to coach salespeople in the field and assist with strategic opportunitiesStrong presentation, negotiation, relationship-building and closing skillsExperience using Salesforce or a comparable CRMAbility to travel regularly throughout TexasBachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be consideredLocation and CompensationField-based position requiring residence in Texas, preferably within a major metro areaHouston is the preferred locationBase salary of $100,000–$170,000 based on experienceAdditional bonus and performance incentivesCandidates must currently reside in the United States and be authorized to work without current or future sponsorshipApplicants must currently reside in the United States and be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.Type: direct hire
