Overview
Cardiovascular Technologist - CVOR in Saint Louis, MO, US. This travel temporary assignment begins August 10, 2026 and runs for several weeks. Earn between $1,734 and $1,864 per week, with guaranteed hours of 40 per week. Shift: 5x8 Days. Operates in a CVOR within a cardiothoracic surgical services setting with approximate throughput of about 3 cases per day across two CVOR rooms. First-timers are considered; MO license or compact license for submission is acceptable, with IL license in hand required at submittal. Flu vaccination is required; COVID-19 vaccination is not required. Scrubs are provided.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and scrub for cardiothoracic procedures, including CABG, AVR, MVR, TAVR, and related cases
- Maintain sterile technique, manage instrument counts, and assist the surgical team intraoperatively
- Perform scrub duties for thoracotomy and thoracoscopy procedures; assist with robotic thoracoscopy when applicable
- Support robotic surgery equipment (DaVinci) as needed; assist with case setup and equipment readiness
- Assist with complex cases such as pericardial windows and VAD/Impella support as part of the CVOR team
- Participate in room turnover, instrument maintenance, and adherence to perioperative safety protocols
- May be required to float within the CVOR service line when caseload demands

Requirements
- BLS certification required
- Licensure: MO license or compact license accepted for submission; IL license in hand required at submittal; licenses must align with permanent residence or ETA
- Experience: 2+ years in CVOR or cardiothoracic surgical technology; first-timers accepted
- Procedural skills: Scrub, Thoracotomy, Thoracoscopy
- Education: Not specified (work experience and certification suffices)
- Ability to work in a CVOR environment; pre-approved time off and on-call requirements understood

Certifications & Skills
- Required: BLS
- Preferred: DaVinci robotics experience
- Equipment: Familiarity with CVOR instrumentation and cardiothoracic surgical sets
- Additional: Willingness to float within CVOR service line as needed
