Special Education Itinerant Teacher – NYC, NY Achieve Beyond is a leading provider of pediatric therapy services in NYC and the surrounding region, offering ABA, speech, occupational, social work, physical therapy, and Special Education/SEIT services. We serve children and families across all five boroughs of NYC, Hudson Valley, Long Island, Albany, Virginia/DC, Maryland, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Delaware. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Itinerant Teacher to join our team in NYC, NY. This role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of children and families. Location Cases available throughout Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and Staten Island boroughs. Compensation and Benefits Hourly Rate: $70.00 (starting rate, subject to discussion based on experience and education) Flexible work schedule Access to paperless billing and data collection system (training provided) Support from dedicated clinical supervisors and administrative staff Financial educational assistance program (when applicable) Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits Job Responsibilities Provide one on one special instruction to children aged 3 to 5 years in our CPSE program Educate family members and caregivers on different intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over Work in diverse settings such as patient homes, family day care homes, daycare centers, and/or other community settings Maintain accurate records of services provided; submit evaluations and progress reports in a timely manner Prepare progress reports as per program timelines Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and State & Federal regulations) and submit records to agency within established deadlines Qualifications Must have a passion for working with children and families One of the following NYS certifications/licenses: Students with Disabilities (Birth – 2) Initial or Professional Certification OR Students with Disabilities All Grades, Initial or Professional Permanent Special Education Certification Must be self‑motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism Fluency in a language other than English is a plus Physical Requirements Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including driving a personal vehicle, walking, and/or public transportation such as bus or train Ability to ascend and descend staircases Ability to lift 10 pounds regularly Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/or crawl for extended periods of time Application Job responsibilities subject to change. #J-18808-Ljbffr
