Extension Intern - State 4-H Office

Extension Intern – State 4-H Office Position Overview Extension Intern in the State 4-H Office. Temporary Office/Clerical position in the CAES-State 4-H department. Provide event management and logistical support for Georgia 4-H and the Georgia 4-H Foundation. Duties and Responsibilities Provide comprehensive event management and logistical support for Georgia 4-H and the Georgia 4-H Foundation. Coordinate signature events such as State Council, 4-H Summer Camp, and State Congress, along with other departmental programs. Assist in handling logistical items surrounding these events. Qualifications Students pursuing a degree in agriculture, animal science, biological sciences, environmental science, child and family development, forestry, foods and nutrition, human development and family science, education, health promotion, natural resource management, or plant sciences. Interest in pursuing a career with UGA Cooperative Extension. Background check and potential drug test required. Physical Demands and Other Requirements Position of trust: Yes.
