Assignment Details

Minimum 2 years of experience required

Requirements

• Current physical therapy license
• Ability to perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized plans of care
• Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and patient education
• Experience with documentation and billing processes related to therapy services
• Ability to supervise and direct the activities of physical therapy assistants and students
• Strong communication and coordination skills within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust patient visit schedules to optimize productivity and address patient needs
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to inform treatment planning
• Develop and implement plans of care aimed at promoting patients' functional independence and safety
• Provide skilled physical therapy treatment and assess patient progress regularly
• Coordinate care with other clinical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Supervise clinical activities of physical therapy assistants and students
• Complete necessary documentation to reflect care provided and outcomes achieved
• Participate in training programs and promote physical therapy services in the community
• Carry out patient-related health assessments and procedures as needed
• Ensure timely communication regarding patient care and schedules
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review audits
