TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Napa, California, 94558!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Labor and Delivery is required. License: Must have a valid state compact license. Certifications: BLS, NRP required. Must-Have: Experience with patient ratios and charting systems. Description: Ratios are 1:2. First-timers are accepted. Weekend shifts are required. This traveler may need to float between related units. The facility may accommodate block scheduling at manager's discretion. Local candidates are accepted. No pending licenses will be accepted. Requested time off must be included at the time of submission. The facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period. The type of facility is an acute care hospital with 200 staffed beds. Scrub color is solid royal blue for registered nurses. Charting is done using an electronic health record system. Daily census in the unit is around 2-3 patients. The unit consists of 5 rooms and 5 beds. Interdisciplinary support services are available. Required skills include, but are not limited to: administration of blood products, support with breastfeeding, neonatal resuscitation, and management of obstetrical patients. Travelers may float between nearby facilities as necessary. Providing patient education and discharge teaching to parents is expected. Potential for call exists, depending on census. Must commit to working 3 out of 5 designated holidays. References are required covering the last 1 year of experience. Traveler must have experience with sterile vaginal exams. Candidates must not contact facilities directly unless previously agreed upon.
