Job Description

Location: Troy, MI
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay: $21.50/hour

Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a family-owned and operated premier wholesale food distribution company located in Troy, Michigan. This company proudly supplies restaurants, hotels, casinos, schools, institutions, and retail operations of all sizes with fresh food products, beverages, and essential supplies. They are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join their team.

Job Responsibilities

Deliver and pick up products at customer locations throughout the local area
Obtain signed receiving tickets and delivery documentation
Serve as the face of the company by providing professional and courteous customer service
Maintain ongoing communication with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and route updates
Load and unload products safely and efficiently at customer sites
Perform routine vehicle and equipment inspections
Report maintenance concerns and repair needs to the supervisor
Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations
Ensure accurate and timely deliveries while maintaining positive customer relationships

Qualifications

Valid Chauffeur License required
Must meet DOT requirements
Ability to pass a Fit-for-Duty Physical
Strong customer service and communication skills
Knowledge of local roads and delivery areas
Experience with delivery driving, shipping, receiving, or transportation preferred
Ability to load and unload products as needed
Dependable, professional, and safety-conscious
