Senior Infrastructure Platform Engineer

Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Platform Engineer. Duties: Systems Support, Maintenance, and Implementation:
- Assist with the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of secure, reliable, and scalable systems infrastructure across company properties and business environments
- Configure, deploy, and maintain server infrastructure, virtualization platforms, storage systems, backup platforms, cloud services, and related infrastructure technologies
- Support Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, certificate services, and related Microsoft infrastructure components
- Support VMware vCenter, ESXi hosts, virtual machines, resource allocation, performance monitoring, and related virtualization technologies
- Support Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, SaaS platforms, managed hosting services, and hybrid infrastructure environments
- Assist with infrastructure upgrades, server refreshes, migrations, lifecycle replacements, and modernization initiatives
- Support scheduled maintenance, patching, infrastructure deployments, and system configuration changes
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or similar roles within an enterprise environment
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related Microsoft infrastructure services
- Experience supporting VMware vCenter, ESXi, virtual machines, and enterprise virtualization environments
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, SaaS platforms, or hybrid infrastructure environments
- Experience with enterprise backup, disaster recovery, restore validation, and recovery procedures
- Experience with Microsoft and third-party patch management, application packaging, and software deployment
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting server, application, identity, storage, backup, cloud, and network connectivity issues
- Experience supporting Tier 2 and Tier 3 systems issues in an enterprise or multi-site environment
