This facility operates as a Level 1 Trauma Center providing comprehensive inpatient trauma surgery services. The hospital maintains established clinical protocols and dedicated staffing to support high-acuity trauma care in an inpatient environment. Locum tenens coverage is utilized to supplement the existing team and ensure continuity of trauma surgery services.

South Carolina offers a range of outdoor and cultural activities suited to varied interests. Along the coast, clinicians may enjoy dolphin boat cruises, lighthouse tours, harbor cruises, and food tours, while the Upstate region provides access to kayaking, paddleboarding, and hiking near the mountains. The physician associate will provide inpatient trauma surgery coverage during day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with no call responsibilities required. The clinician will manage trauma surgery cases at a Level 1 Trauma facility in an on-site setting, working alongside a support team that includes 6 APPs and 6 MAs. Board certification is required for this assignment. Coverage is needed as soon as possible on an ongoing basis.
