Enterprise Technology is the center of excellence for digital technology at Blue Origin, providing oversight and governance to align technology and business strategies.As part of the Emerging Technology Team, you will bring a software development perspective to aerospace design and analysis systems. You will be a key member of the team responsible for building our AI native systems that design, build and test our products using the latest AWS, Java, React, Python and GenAI platforms.We are looking for someone who has an approach hallmarked by rapid delivery and continuous-improvement and who is ready to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!QualificationsBA/BS in computer science, information science, or a related field, or equivalent experience in practice2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience, writing production code in at least one programming languageStrong understanding of software engineering principles and the ability translate domain expertise into applicationsFamiliarity with Python, Java and Typescript as a primary coding languageExperience developing long-lasting REST/GraphQL APIs and/or applications in a production environmentExperience with version control (Gitlab / Github) and CI/CD pipelinesExperience with unit and end to end testing on Java or ReactNuanced understanding of at least one modern database system, such as RDBMS, columnar DBMS, NoSQL, IMDB.Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships through outstanding interpersonal and communication skillsDesiredFamiliarity with Angular or Python coding languagePrevious use of AWS, Azure, or other cloud infrastructuresExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as TerraformBase Pay Range for WA applicants is $134,961.00 - $188,945.40.
