Description: Seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse. The role includes providing comprehensive emergency medical services to all age groups. The department is staffed 24/7 by a highly trained team to meet community needs. The team consists of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff. The facility is a designated trauma center and stroke center. It treats more than 60,000 patients per year. The nurse-to-patient ratio ranges from 1:1 with critical/trauma patients to 1:3-4 for all other patients. An associated degree in nursing is required. Two years of experience working under the highest level of professional license in the specialty field is mandatory. Certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC are necessary. This position is patient-facing and clinical in nature. Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred. The dress code includes solid navy scrubs.
