Event Manager

As our next Event Manager, you are the liaison between the client and hotel operations. Greet clients, lead property tours, promote hotel services, and respond to inquiries Create event details, including menus, contracts, correspondence, banquet orders, and arrangements Coordinate event and meeting setup and execution with internal departments to meet client and operational needs Prepare weekly and monthly sales and event activity reports Attend Catering/Events, Food & Beverage, Department Head, and other operational meetings as needed Attend community, social, networking, and business events as appropriate Stay current on the competitive market and local hospitality landscape Perform other duties as assigned What we are looking for? Two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience in event management, catering, hospitality, hotel operations, or a related field preferred Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills when interacting with internal and external guests Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously Ability to effectively assess client needs, develop event solutions, and negotiate pricing as appropriate Preferred experience with Delphi / Amadeus / Passkey / PEP or other hotel software system experience What’s in it for you?
