Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for an Inpatient Pharmacist position at a large, 500-bed medical center featuring specialized units including a 42-bed NICU and a 14-bed Pediatric ICU. The facility has recently transitioned its system to EPIC from Cerner in February, offering a dynamic environment for clinical pharmacists familiar with this electronic health record platform.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to inpatient units.
• Manage medication therapy and ensure safe, effective pharmaceutical care.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC for accurate documentation, order verification, and medication reconciliation.
• Participate in clinical rounds, providing pharmacologic expertise.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an inpatient pharmacist is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC system is strongly desired to support seamless patient care in the new platform.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Schedule:

• 7 days on, 7 days off night shift, Wednesday through Tuesday rotation.

• Lubbock, TX

Type:

• Travel assignment with flexibility to consider permanent relocation candidates.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity hospital setting with diverse patient populations, including neonatal and pediatric intensive care.
