Job Title: Maintenance Technician ($31-35/hr)

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic production equipment. Your tasks will include working with 3 Phase motors, conveyors, presses, as well as electrical troubleshooting involving 480, 277, 120, and 24V DC. Additionally, you will engage in PLC and robotics troubleshooting, specifically with Fanuc and ABB systems, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs, and other general maintenance tasks. Your role will also involve conducting daily preventive maintenance when not responding to breakdowns.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic production equipment.
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting on systems ranging from 480V to 24V DC.
• Engage in PLC and robotics troubleshooting, specifically with Fanuc and ABB systems.
• Perform hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.
• Carry out general maintenance tasks and daily preventive maintenance.

Essential Skills

• Ability to test 12v and 24v DC controls and 480v AC systems.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and ladder logic.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems.
• Knowledge in PLC troubleshooting and welding.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prefer 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience with an associate's degree.
• Consideration for entry-level if degreed, but 10 years experience required if no degree.
• Multi-skilled in electrical (480V), mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic areas.
• PLC troubleshooting and ladder logic knowledge preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Welding (mig) and conduit bending are a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment is a large Tier 1 automotive supplier to Toyota, specializing in automotive sheet glass. It is a highly automated and fast-paced setting where timely product delivery is crucial. The facility is non-temperature controlled, making it very hot year-round, but it remains clean and well-lit. Due to the heat, many areas require cut-proof, long sleeve jackets. Equipment includes robots (Fanuc and ABB), conveyors, pumps, presses, and ovens, contributing to the demanding nature of the job.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of VERSAILLES, KY.

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $34.00/hr.
