Role & Responsibilities Home Health Physical Therapist provides comprehensive physical therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions within an interdisciplinary team. They are accountable for program development, quality improvement, and productivity enhancement, demonstrating flexibility and collaboration in a multidisciplinary environment. Qualifications & Skills Candidates must have a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (required after 2015), valid Texas licensure, and relevant experience. Essential skills include strong assessment and treatment planning abilities, accountability, adaptability, and effective communication. Educational requirements include a high school diploma (N/A) and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT). Experience expectations include a specified number of years and relevant experience types. Certifications required include a licensed physical therapist, Basic Life Support (BLS), Auto Liability Insurance, reliable transportation, and a valid Texas Driver’s License. Key Certifications & Licenses Required certifications are licensure as a physical therapist, BLS, auto liability insurance, and a valid driver’s license. Additional requirements include obtaining auto insurance and reliable transportation within ninety days of hire.
