Project Manager - Commercial Glazing

Role Description The Project Manager – Commercial Glazing is a full-time, on-site role based in Newburgh, NY, responsible for managing commercial glass and glazing projects from bid through closeout. This position oversees project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with general contractors, architects, vendors, and internal installation teams. Daily tasks include reviewing drawings and specifications, preparing and tracking submittals, managing material orders, monitoring fabrication and delivery timelines, and coordinating site logistics. The Project Manager conducts regular job site visits to verify measurements, ensure quality installation, address field issues, and maintain compliance with safety and building code requirements. The role also involves tracking project costs, managing change orders, updating stakeholders on progress, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to client satisfaction. Responsibilities Manage multiple commercial architectural glass and metal projects simultaneously from award through closeout Review and thoroughly understand contract documents, drawings, and specifications at project start Lead project kickoff meetings; establish schedules, submittals, and procurement timelines Prepare and manage submittal packages for storefront, curtain wall, window, railing, and decorative metal systems Coordinate with architects, GCs, owners, and design consultants on RFIs, submittals, and change orders Procure materials and manage supplier relationships including Kawneer, YKK AP, CRL, EFCO, and Wausau Track project budgets, monitor costs against estimates, and flag variances proactively Generate and negotiate change orders — protect project margin from scope creep Coordinate field crews and subcontractors; ensure installations proceed on schedule and to spec Manage project closeout including punch lists, warranties, O&M documentation, and final billings Maintain accurate project documentation in Procore throughout the project lifecycle Qualifications 2+ years of project management experience in commercial construction with direct experience in architectural glass, glazing, curtain wall, storefront, or specialty facade systems Deep understanding of commercial glazing systems and how they are designed, fabricated, and installed Expertise in Kawneer Direct and Demichele Group PartnerPak and familiarity with the following brands - Kawneer, Efco, YKK, Wausau, CRL. Knowledge of project management tools and software such as MS Office Suite/365 Programs, Bluebeam, Procore, Teams, etc. Ability to read full construction document sets and write clear, precise RFIs and change orders Proven ability to manage GC relationships and protect project scope and margin Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple active projects without losing detail Salary: $110,000 – $135,000 per year, based on experience Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr Socket.dev
