The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Wyoming that are seeking Buyers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to optimize cost and quality.
• Identify and qualify new suppliers, fostering strong relationships to ensure a reliable supply chain.
• Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize carrying costs, utilizing forecasting tools.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to inform purchasing strategies and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure material specifications meet manufacturing requirements.
• Resolve supplier disputes and non-conformances efficiently to maintain production continuity.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a purchasing or buyer role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and achieve cost savings.
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems and procurement best practices.
• Experience with technical specifications, blueprints, and quality standards for manufactured goods.

Bonus Qualifications

• APICS or other supply chain certification
• Experience with an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
• Multilingual, particularly in languages relevant to the supply chain
