Staff Accountant POST NUMBER: 212925

Join a stable and growing organization seeking a Staff Accountant to support general accounting operations, month-end close, financial reporting, and audit activities. Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and employee expense reports
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and bank accounts
• Support financial reporting and audit requests
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
• Partner with internal teams to resolve accounting issues and improve processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 1-3 years of accounting experience
• Understanding of AP processes and accrual accounting
• Knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills

Preferred

• Journal entry and general ledger experience
• Month-end close exposure
• SAP, Dynamics 365, or other ERP experience
• Public accounting experience is a plus
