Seasonal Travel RN – Operating Room (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a main OR setting, including vascular/hybrid OR, trauma, and neuro procedures
• Operate and assist with advanced surgical technology including DaVinci Robotics systems
• Maintain a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio in accordance with unit standards
• Adhere to a 30-minute on-call response time requirement; on-call hours are Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM (no overnight on-call required)
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team including charge RNs, trauma RNs, and surgical technologists
• Document patient care accurately using the facility's electronic medical record system

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Colorado or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care Operating Room RN experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Ability to meet on-call obligations with a 30-minute response time, Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel experience in large trauma OR facilities
• Hands-on experience with DaVinci Robotics (candidates with robotics experience will be given priority consideration)
• Prior experience with Meditech or CPN electronic medical record systems
