Job Description Are you a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with excellent clinical skills, confident as a healthcare professional, who values relationships with co‑workers and patients, and is looking for a job offering growth and variety? As a Charge Nurse at Miller’s, you are responsible for the nursing care of the patients on your shift. You follow the Comprehensive Care Plan for your patients and assist the Unit Manager with thorough and accurate documentation in the patient record when needed. You supervise the direct resident care personnel on your shift. Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients during your shift. Follow the Comprehensive Care Plan for each patient. Assist the Unit Manager with accurate documentation. Supervise direct resident care personnel. Apply if you are: A licensed nurse in the State of Indiana. Passionate about serving others. Professional in appearance and behavior. Able to work with a dedicated team. Qualifications Currently licensed and registered to practice as a professional nurse in the State of Indiana. Successfully complete pre‑employment process and screening. Pass the physical examination required for gainful employment within the facility. Professional manner and appearance. Knowledge of nursing policies and procedures. Administration of medication, possible side effects, treatment administration, local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to resident care. Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices. Knowledge of physical, psychological, social and medical needs of residents. Understanding of organizational structure and duties of employees under the supervision of unit manager. Competent in supervision and leadership. Caring attitude. Observant. Fosters and maintains a good working relationship with other staff. Good judgment and emotional stability. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
