Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district is required Certifications: BLS required ACLS required NRP required AWHONN Intermediate electronic fetal monitoring required Must-Have: Must live 50 miles away LRDP experience preferred Description: 3 x 12-hour night shifts with an 8-week contract. On-call requirement: One shift per week. Patient population includes pregnant individuals, laboring patients, and those undergoing scheduled procedures. Common procedures include vaginal deliveries and C-sections. The unit's activities include admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-operative preparations, and deliveries. Common equipment used in Labor and Delivery includes fetal monitors and documentation systems. Triage issues are also addressed in this setting.
