CNC Repair Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in powertrain components for the Automotive, Diesel Engine, and Military industries, is seeking a CNC Repair Technician to join their team. As a CNC Repair Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Fraser, MI

Pay Range: $40.00 to $50.00/Hr

What's the Job?

• Maintain and repair CNC equipment and facilities to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions and evaluate repair needs efficiently.
• Perform repairs on 4-axis Horizontal CNC machines, including ballscrew, spindle, servo, and bearing replacements.
• Read and interpret hydraulic and mechanical blueprints for accurate repairs.
• Support preventative maintenance activities and document repair actions for traceability.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in maintenance and machine repair.
• Strong mechanical skills and ability to work with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with Fanuc controls, ladders, and parameters preferred.
• Must provide own tools as specified.
