Department/Unit Summary Join our team in a 5-bed Wound Care unit where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs), Hyperbaric Chamber Operators, LPNs and CMAs. With a 3:4 nurse to patient ratio, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. BSN preferred. Additional requirements include: * Expectation to obtain BSN within two years. * Completed a WOCN Nursing Education Program (WOCNEP) accredited by the WOCN Society as a standard pathway and/or meet experiential requirements. If not completed, must complete within two years and meet requirements to sit and pass the WOCNCB board certification exam within the same two years. * BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire. * ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire. * 4500 hours (2-3 years) of direct patient experience that encompasses wound, ostomy, and continence care.
