Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to neonatal and pediatric patients in the NICU and other units as needed.
• Administer necessary respiratory treatments and manage ventilator support.
• Float between Bridgeport Hospital and Milford Campuses to meet patient care demands.
• Mentor and orientate new hires and students when required.
• Ensure accurate documentation and patient safety per facility protocols using EPIC charting.
• Prepare for assignments involving every other weekend and holiday work as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Current CRT or RRT certification; state license in Connecticut required.
• Minimum of two years of experience, including Level II trauma experience.
• Experienced with Draeger Vent and high-frequency oscillatory ventilation.
• Travel experience is mandatory with the flexibility to float as needed.
• Possession of certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS preferred.
• Strong expertise in neonatal respiratory care and interventions.
