Job Description:  

The Shower door Glazier must have some experience working with glass in various surfaces and settings, such as heavy glass, doors, mirrors, table tops, shower door enclosures, display cases, Wine Rooms and wine racking and other residential glass applications. Residential Glaziers are responsible for interacting with customers/contractors, team members and management to ensure a smooth transaction with our company, while providing the highest possible level of quality workmanship and service with a low warranty percentage. Provides excellent communication skills with persons in and outside of the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Cut glass to the specified size and shape
• Proficient in explaining features and Benefits of shower door lines 
• Remove any old or broken glass before installing replacement glass
• Fasten glass into sashes or frames with clips, moldings, or other types of fastener
• Add weather seal or caulking around pane edges to seal joints
• Use chemicals and adhesive systems as instructed to facilitate installation
• Excellent customer service and ability to build relationships with customers
• Problem solving and troubleshooting as necessary for best outcome of the customer and company
• Operate standard mechanical, power and non-power tools
• Performing general physical activities requiring considerable use of arms and legs and moving your whole body
• Select appropriate tools, safety equipment, and parts, according to job requirements
• Maintain daily installation schedules and Communicate with co-works and customers on route status
• Team environment orientated
• Operating and maintaining a company vehicle
• Other duties as assigned
• Flexible mindset and adaptable between different types of work and projects 

Requirements:

• Some experience in residential field.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to read drawings / plans 
• Excellent with a tape measure and measurements
• Frequent lifting of heavy glass/materials up to 80 lbs.
• Computer skills that correspond to position needs
• Clean DMV 
• Non-smoking environment
